B.A. Admissions 2017 In Haryana
After higher secondary board examination every student faces a dilemma while choosing one’s course of higher education. The decision at this step should be taken by considering one’s interest, availability of finance and capabilities. B.A. is one such degree that can be pursued by students belonging to any stream.B.A. is an abbreviation for Bachelor of Arts. It is the degree awarded to students after the completion of their undergraduate course in liberal arts such as literature, mathematics, physical sciences, philosophy, social sciences and humanities. In India, the duration of B.A. course is generally 3 years. One can also do B.A. Honours in the subject of one’s interest. This adds to the knowledge of the learner and also the value of B.A. degree as most Indian Universities have reserved seats for students with honours in their post graduation courses.

B.A. Admissions Educational Qualifications:
Students who have passed their higher secondary or 10+2 successfully are eligible to apply for B.A. Students who had medical, non-medical, commerce streams in 10+2 can also apply along with students with the arts background. There is no fixed minimum percentage for the application. Admission is given on the basis of merit i.e. top percentage students are admitted till seats of an institute are full. There is reservation for SC/ST/BC/OBC/PHC/Ex-Serviceman categories. One can also apply for B.A. through open universities.
B.A. Admissions Age Limit:
There is no minimum or maximum age for the application. One should have the required qualifications.

B.A. Admissions Application Form and Counselling Date:
Application forms are available on universities’ & colleges’ websites and also from admission office of a college in the months of May and June. Counselling is scheduled in July.
B.A. Admissions Procedure:
The candidate has to fill the personal and educational details as asked in the application form before submission. The merit is displayed on notice boards of colleges. One has to attend counselling in person to get admission.
