Lala Lajpat Rai University of Veterinary & Animal Sciences has been established on December 1, 2010, Under the Haryana Act No. 7 of 2017 in the memory famous freedom fighter Sh. Lala Lajpat Rai Ji. Earlier the Lala Lajpat Rai University of Veterinary & Animal Sciences is the constituent college of Chaudhry Charan Singh Haryana Agriculture University, Hisar. At present, the LUVAS University is situated on the campus of HAU University, Hisar. University offered many UG and PG courses in different branches of veterinary, fishery science and animal science. In future University plans to add some other faculties of Dairy Technology, Animal Bio-Technology, and rural management etc. In this session 2017-2018 the university may be starting a new course B.Sc in Animal Biotechnology and 2-year diploma course for veterinary laboratory technician.

The admission form for PG Courses (M.V.Sc & Ph.D.) will be available on university official website(
www.luvas.edu.in). Interested students, please read the instructions before filling the admission application form. After filling all details submit the admission form to the Dean, Post Graduate Studies, LUVAS, Hisar on or before the last date. At the time of counseling, students must bring original documents and two passport size coloured photographs.
